Create bonus as a form of payment

Creating the voucher as a form of payment is the first step to configure the voucher system. This will make it so that when paying, in the available payment methods in addition to cash and card, if the customer has a balance in the voucher, it will also appear as an option to use for payment.

The steps to create the voucher are:

1. - Go to the menu Settings/Payment methods.
2.- See the vouchers that have been created, if none of the default ones have been used, they can be reused, otherwise click on New.

3.- Complete the required data to create the voucher.

• Type: for this case we are only interested in Voucher Wallet and Voucher Units.

• Available by default: refers to whether it will be available by default for any type of customer.

• Available online: this button enables the payment method to pay for reservations through the customer area.

• Visible Balance: allows customers with a balance to check it through the customer area, as well as the movements that have been made with that voucher.

• Voucher Units Ratio: indicates the relationship between the units of recharge of the voucher and the units consumed. For example, a voucher for 3 student classes would have a ratio equal to 3. This is not a mandatory field.

• Add points: serves to determine if this payment method should add points to the loyalty vouchers when paid with it.

4.- Click on Save.
5.- At the bottom, the section Allowed Products will appear to be paid with that voucher. Click on New and select the product that can be paid with the voucher. If no product is indicated, any product can be paid with that voucher.
